1. Services provided
Swift Site UK provides website design and build, website hosting, and search engine optimisation (SEO) services. The exact scope, number of pages and features of each project are agreed in writing before work begins. Anything outside that agreed scope is treated as additional work and quoted separately.
2. Payment terms
Projects are invoiced 50% upfront before work begins, with the remaining 50% payable on completion and before the website is published to the client’s live domain. Ongoing hosting or SEO plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and may be cancelled with 30 days’ notice.
3. Refund policy
Once work has begun, the upfront payment is non-refundable, as it covers time and resources already committed to your project. No refunds are issued for completed work, or for hosting or SEO periods already served.
4. Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for supplying content, images, logos and any other materials needed, and confirms they have the right to use them. Delays in supplying materials or feedback may extend delivery timescales.
5. Website ownership
The client owns their domain name and, on receipt of full payment, owns the finished website content and design as delivered. Swift Site UK retains ownership of any underlying tools, frameworks and reusable components, and retains the right to display the finished website in its portfolio and marketing materials unless the client asks in writing for it to be excluded.
6. Liability
Swift Site UK is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the project in question. We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
